Taking the ferry is the most reliable and enjoyable means to get to the island. There are two carriers to choose from, and both depart from Hyannis.
Hy-line
Fast ferry 6 trips daily (1 hr) $71 roundtrip
Steamship Authority
Fast ferry 5 trips daily (1 hr) $61 roundtrip
Slow ferry 3 trips daily (2.5 hrs) $30 roundtrip
Keep in mind that if you drive to Hyannis, you must pay for parking at either the airport or ferry dock. Daily parking rates are approx. $10-15.
The docks are right in town, and taxis are available at the corner of Straight Wharf & at the Steamship Dock, or you may walk to your hotel.
